Custom Fit Seat Cover Information and Tips

Custom Fit/Patterns:  Custom Fit Seat Covers are designed to fit nearly as good as original upholstery. Patterns are developed using advanced CAD (computer aided design) systems.  The Custom Seat Covers assure full seat functionality.   In addition to it's pattern design,  custom fit seat covers include all headrests, armrests, console covers for split benches, map pockets, seat adjustment cutouts and airbag cutouts.  Patterns are designed to allow the original functionality of the seat.  For many vehicles, Custom Seat Covers are available for the middle and rear seats as well.  All Custom Seat Cover design, production, and material selection is done in accordance within the guidelines of strict quality systems.

All knobs, levers, adjustments and airbag areas are pre-cut! All headrests, armrests, console covers (on truck bench seats) included!Please be certain that you select the proper configuration! NOTE: (F) designates the Front Row. (R) designates the Rear Row. For SUVs with 3 rows, (M) designates the Middle Row.

Extras Included! All headrests, armrests, console covers for split benches, map pockets, airbag provisions, seat adjustment cutouts INCLUDED.  There is no extra charge - Beware of low priced "Custom" Seat Covers which then charge extra for a headrest, armrest, console cover, etc. - Some companies even charge extra for airbag cut outs!  Our Custom Fit Seat Covers include everything you will need for a single low price. The Custom Seat Covers are sold by the ROW - a two seat sports car will have 1 row, a typical family sedan has 2 rows, and a minivan or large SUV has 3 rows.
 

Airbags:   Seat Airbag Provisions are included in Custom Seat Covers!  Our designs include a special flap which allows airbags to deploy while seat covers are installed. This flap keeps the shape of the seat cover, preventing wrinkles which can be caused by simply cutting a hole in the airbag position. The flap is made of the same material as the seat cover - keeping the original look and style of the seat cover.

These airbag provisions an included piece of all of our Custom Fit Seat Covers, and does not charge extra.  The images to the right show airbag flaps on custom fitted Cadillac SRX seat covers and custom fit Corvette seat covers.
 

When ordering our Custom Seat Covers, BE CERTAIN that the description of the vehicle application includes mention of the side airbag provision. Some vehicles are offered with side airbags as an option, and we offer seat cover patterns for BOTH styles (with and without side airbag provisions).  We also offer side airbag provisions for middle and back row seats.

Do NOT use Universal Seat Covers on vehicles equipped with integrated side airbags!
 

Seat Functionality:  Custom Seat Covers Designed to Allow Complete Seat Functionality 

Coverking Custom Seat Covers are designed to protect and enhance a vehicle seat. Attention is paid to ensure the seat retains full functionality, including access to airbags, headrest, armrest and console covers.   Seat Covers are also offered for the middle and rear seats allowing the seat backs to be folded down and provide access to the trunk. Provisions are included for seats with integrated airbags.   SUV, Minivan and Truck Seat Covers are designed to allow the seat backs and bottoms to be moved - even allow the entire seat to be removed from the vehicle - without taking off the seat cover!  This is an important feature of  Custom Seat Covers which may not be available from other seat cover suppliers.   The original face material is used throughout the Seat Cover, not just the seating surface.
 

Custom Seat Covers for Rear Seats:

Installation is simple because the middle and third row are usually removable. In some cases such as for extended cab truck seat covers, the rear row is bolted to the cab, and tools must be used to remove the seat and replace it after the seat cover installation. In these cases, the model application selection seat cover part number makes note of the additional installation requirements.

In many cases with cars, the rear seat must be removed. We suggest professional installation be used in these cases, and a note is made in the part listing.

Custom seat covers for the back row of cars includes cutouts for seat belts and seat adjustments. The same material is used throughout the seat cover (even the back panels, which are hidden). Areas of the rear seat which anchor to the vehicle body are pre-cut and edged to prevent the seat cover fabric from fraying.

In the case of SUV Seat Covers, the middle and third row seat covers are designed to allow the full original functionality of the seat.

If the rear seat has an integrated side airbag, make certain that a provision for the airbag is mentioned in the part listing.

Logos (Optional):  Custom Seat Covers are available with Officially Licensed GM logos and several other designs.

Add a personalized and custom touch to your vehicle with highquality color embroidery sewn directly into the seat cover headrest area. Currently, all GM logos are available, along with several flags, armed forces insignias, and optional personalized embroidery. Embroidered logos can not be purchased through the web, orders must be placed by phone.  Embroidery thread is specially treated for Ultra Violet resistance - assuring the Seat Covers and embroidered logo will retain their original color without fading. Among the logos offered for Custom Seat Covers are the Corvette Flags, Suburban, Silverado, Cadillac wreath and VSpec, Yukon, S-10, Denali, SSR, and many others.
