Boat Cover Help - When you are ready to start your ordering your boat cover, CLICK HERE

We have two methods available for searching for a boat cover:

If you know the Manufacturer along with the Manufacturer's Description of your exact boat model, then you will be able to use our "Boat Covers by Manufacturer" method. Using this method will give you the option of Custom, Semi-Custom and Universal covers. We have over 500 Manufacturers and over 20,000 different Models of boats in our database. Chances are, if you know your Manufacturer and Model, we will have a cover to fit your boat.

If you a do not know or are not sure of your exact Manufacturer and/or Model of your boat, we have provided a second search method, "Boat Covers by Style and Dimensions." You will enter specific information about the physical size and shape of your boat. Based on this information, CoverSearch will determine which covers best fit your boat.

Search by Manufacturer and Model
  1. First, you will need to select your manufacturer. To do this, find the label "Boat Covers by Manufacturer and Model." Immediately under this title, there is a drop box. Click on this drop box in order to display the list. You can scroll down the list using the scroll bar. Once you find your manufacturer, using your mouse, click that manufacturer to select it. The drop box should now display your manufacturer highlighted in blue. Once your Manufacturer is selected, click the "Search" button to begin your search.

  2. Choose your Model from the drop box. Be sure you select the exact model of your boat! If you are having trouble finding your Model, try locating your Boat Capacity Plate. Many boat manufacturers display the Model information on the Boat Capacity Plate which is usually located near the driver console. Once you find your Model, using your mouse, click to select it. The drop box should now display your Model. Once your Model is selected, click the "Search" button to complete your search!

Search by Boat Style and Dimensions

This search option will assist you in finding a boat cover if you do not know or are not sure of your exact Manufacturer and Model. A boat cover will be chosen based on the physical description of your boat.

  1. You will need to choose the general Style of your boat (i.e. Fishing Boat, Ski Boat, etc.). From the Home Page, find the label "Boat Style and Dimensions." Immediately under this title, there is a drop box. Click on this drop box in order to display the list of Boat Styles. Once you find your boat style, using your mouse, click that Boat Style to select it. The drop box should now display your Boat Type. Once your Boat Style is selected, click the "Search" button to begin your search.

  2. This next screen will help you narrow down your exact Boat Style. To do this, find the picture that most closely represents your boat. Some Boat Styles will have an option of engine style (i.e. outboard, inboard, or no engine). If there is a drop box asking for your motor type, you will need to choose you style of motor. Once you have located your Boat Style and have selected the appropriate engine style (if asked), click the "This looks like my boat" button to continue your search.

Note: If you do not see a picture that represents your boat, try clicking your browser back button and select a different general Boat Style category.

  3. You will now be given a drop box filled with Centerline length ranges. You will need to select a centerline range that describes the Centerline length of your boat. Make sure your measurements are accurate! You do not want a cover that is too small that will not completely cover your boat, nor do you want a cover that is too large.

Note: To measure your boat correctly, using a tape measure, measure a straight line from bow to stern as shown in the diagram below. Do not measure over windshields and or bow rails. Make sure to include integrated swim platforms and/or bow pulpits when measuring the Centerline length.

    Measuring your boat centerline

Once you have selected the appropriate Centerline range, click the "Continue" button to continue your search.

  4. You will now choose the available Beam Width of your cover. The drop box displays the maximum beam width that the cover will fit. To select an appropriate beam width, you will need to measure the width of your boat at its widest point as shown in the illustration.

    Measuring your boat beamwidth

Once you know the beam width of your boat, you will need to select a maximum beam width that is equal or larger than your actual measurement. (i.e. if you measure your boat width to be 8 feet 3 inches, you want to make sure you select a maximum beam width that is larger than this). If you select a beam width that is smaller than your actual measurement, the cover will not be wide enough to cover your boat. Once you have selected the appropriate Maximum Beam Width, click the "Continue" button to view your boat cover options!
